As a California native, Chris was inspired to pursue photography by the Bay Area’s unique cliffs and vibrant sunsets. He felt that if he could capture the emotions of experiencing California’s beauty, he could share those feelings with others and connect their experiences with his own.
Storytelling became even more central to Chris’ photography with the experiences many others don’t get the opportunity to experience. As a Peace Corps Volunteer, he moved to a rural village in Rwanda, Africa, where he developed strong bonds with the community he lived in and was recognized as one of the 9 Travel Photographers Who Capture the Energy of Rwanda by Culture Trip. His backpacking trip to Ethiopia and excursion through the deserts of Namibia have opened his eyes to some of the most majestic landscapes in Africa. He wanted to honor the places he visited by accurately depicting them in his photography.

Since then, Chris has settled in Seattle, Washington where he continues to be inspired by the Pacific Northwest. In addition to his day job, he develops content for the social media channels of a local brewery. Combining his love for beer and photography is nothing short of rewarding.
